Imaging intelligence
Medical imaging research spanning multimodal prediction, lung cancer screening, MRI quality, and clinical AI workflows.

Physician · Public health · Medical AI
I am a physician-researcher working at the intersection of radiology, population health, and artificial intelligence.
My work connects medical imaging and predictive modeling with global health, clinical practice, and the systems that shape patient care.
Selected focus
Medical imaging, predictive modeling, population health, and clinical AI.
Medical imaging research spanning multimodal prediction, lung cancer screening, MRI quality, and clinical AI workflows.
Epidemiology, global burden of disease, and health-policy work designed to turn large datasets into practical decisions.
A cross-disciplinary approach shaped by medicine, public health, education, technology, and service across cultures.
Training & experience
2026 - 2027
University of Florida - USA
Research fellowship in the Department of Radiology under the mentorship of Dr. Bruno Hochhegger. Focus includes multimodal predictive modeling and opportunistic screening for lung cancer.
2025 - 2026
Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health - USA
Focused on Global Health and Health Policy, this program combines qualitative and quantitative training in epidemiology, with coursework in health systems management and public policy.
2019 - 2025
University of São Paulo - Brazil & University of Lisbon - Portugal
Graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP), best medical university in Latin America according to EduRank. In 2019, the acceptance rate for the medical school was 0.87%. The medical degree was also officially recognized by the University of Lisbon, Portugal, via a bilateral agreement.
